WHY PARTICIPATE?
There are hundreds of victims of domestic violence and child abuse, each year, in Rutherford County alone that need your help! By participating in this race, YOU are providing shelter, food, therapy, medical services, and meeting the other needs for these individuals. YOU are ensuring that those victims become successful survivors!
how are funds used?
We are very grateful to receive grants that help us pay for medical supplies, toiletry items, utilities, rent, and direct services for our clients. Unfortunately, there aren’t always enough funds to carry us through the year, or meet all of clients needs. Family Resources depends greatly on unrestricted to funds that can be used for clients when funding is low, to help with salaries, utilities, and building repairs. The unexpected always happens…. we have to make sure we have the money to bridge the gaps when necessary.
