Our programs offer a wide-range of support services tailored to the needs of families in our community. Working together with partner agencies, we have established a strong network of programming, ranging from parenting support to abuse prevention and interventional services.

Parent and Caregiver Support

Circle of Parents

Circle of Parents provides a friendly, supportive environment led by parents. It’s a place where anyone in a parenting role can find support and openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising children. This program is free and offers free childcare services.

Relatives as Parents (RAPP)

RAPP is designed to assist relative caregivers who have taken on the role of primary caregiver for related children. RAPP provides education, ideas on new parenting and coping skills, mutual peer support, and access and information to resources. This group is free of charge and provides enjoyable activities, dinner and childcare.

Parenting Classes

Our agency uses evidenced – based programs that teach skills to improve family relationships. We offer the Nurturing Parenting Progam, Triple P: Positive Parenting Progam, and Parenting Wisely Young Child and Teen Edition.

Emergency Services and Partnerships

Donation Closet

The Donation Closet consists of necessities such as toiletries, cleaning supplies, shoes and coats, paper products, and other essential items for families that may be in need. These items are primarily distributed to program participants or children and families that receive support through the Child Advocacy Center.

PATH Shelter

The PATH Shelter provides emergency shelter and related services to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault make safe and informed choices about the violence in their lives. In operation since 1982, PATH offers real hope and help to those seeking a life free of violence, intimidation and abuse.

Noah’s House provides emergency shelter for children and teenagers suffering from abuse and/or neglect.

Darkness to Light

Stewards of Children is an evidence informed training developed by the non-profit Darkness to Light. This program teaches participants how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Training is provided to any group or agency free of charge.

Child Advocacy Center

The Child Advocacy Center provides a safe and neutral location in which law enforcement and child protective services can observe forensic interviews with children who are alleged victims of abuse, alleged victims can recieve a Child Medical Exam, and where the child and non-offending family members can receive support and education about the investigative process. The CAC also houses the Child Abuse Response Team (CART) that meets frequently to collaborate on cases and work together to provide the best outcome for the child victim.

Community Response Program

The Community Response Program aims to support cross agency collaborative, community-based initiatives to provide outreach, support, and services to individuals and families. The goal is to ensure families have access to supports and services to meet their basic needs, including economic support and access to resources. Referrals are made to evidence based services that support families.

ParentLearn

The ParentLearn program is designed to assist mothers who have been unable to finish their high school education the traditional way. It is a chance to complete their diploma and learn valuable parenting techniques.
