Darkness to Light

Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children training prevention program helps communities achieve breakthroughs in child protection. With the support and assistance of concerned adults in our community, we seek to provide all children with the opportunity to grow up healthy, happy and free of sexual abuse. This program uses real people and real stories to show adults how to protect children using the Five Steps to Protecting Children.

Stewards of Children increases knowledge, improves attitudes, and changes child protective behaviors. 

The program utilizes a video and an interactive format that lasts about two hours.  Training is provided to any group or agency free of charge.

This training is ideal for:

• Educators in public and private school settings.
• Staff and volunteers in youth-serving organizations.
• Staff and infant/youth workers in faith centers.
• Students enrolled in youth serving degree plans at higher learning institutions.
• Parents and caregivers.
