Nurturing Parenting is a family-centered, trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglectful parenting and child rearing practices. The program not only teaches parenting skills, but focuses on educating parents of their own self-worth and targets the dangers of mixing drugs and alcohol with parenting. This course is offered in a group setting, and can be completed in 16 weeks.
